Glacier Snowmobiling from Skjól

Difficulty: 2/5, easy.

Tour Highlights: Small Group Experience, Langjökull Glacier, Glacier Snowmobiling, Super Truck Experience.

You will be picked up by a super truck at Skjól. From there we will head towards our snowmobile base which is located at the roots of Langjökull glacier, the second largest glacier in Iceland. There you will get all the equipment that you need for the snowmobile ride. After a short safety briefing and a lesson on how to operate the snowmobile we head out on a one hour exhilarating snowmobile ride. When we are halfway through the ride, we will make a stop for approximately 15 minutes to take pictures and appreciate our surroundings. There you will also get the opportunity to changes drivers before heading back to our base.  

Please note that the price of the tour is based on two persons sharing a snowmobile.
