Into the Glacier takes you inside Langjökull, Iceland's second-largest ice cap, through a man-made tunnel carved deep into the ice — open year-round, unlike the natural ice caves limited to winter. Tours depart from Reykjavík as a long day trip, or from the Húsafell and Klaki base camps nearby, and often pair the tunnel with a snowmobile or super-truck ride across the glacier.
