This flight moves through some of Iceland's most varied and dramatic scenery, connecting ancient volcanic landscapes with the raw power of falling water. The route heads toward Hvalfjörður to find Glymur, Iceland's second-highest waterfall, hidden deep within a rugged canyon that is nearly impossible to appreciate without an aerial view.

From there, the journey tracks the sweeping profile of Skjaldbreiður, a 9,000-year-old shield volcano, before following ancient lava flows toward the Þingvellir rift and the steaming geothermal zones of the Hengill area, where we will land if conditions allow.
