After driving about one hour from Reykjavík, we will begin our hike. The hike takes about 3 hours in total. On the way, you will discover plenty of rivers, cross two of them and even walk through a cave. One hour after starting, you will get your first sighting of the Glymur Waterfall. It is a 200 meters high waterfall, nested at the bottom of a canyon. From the same place, as your turn your head, you will have a gorgeous panorama over the fjord of Hvalfjörður. As we go further up, the views are getting more and more spectacular. We will eventually reach the top of the waterfall, where we will need to go to the other side of the canyon. To do this, we will have to wade through a river! On the way down, the waterfall will no longer be visible, but we will walk down with the fjord always in our sight.
