Iceland Solar Eclipse 2026 Tour

Eclipse 2026 Snaefellsnes Photography Tour
Full description

On August 12, 2026, Iceland will witness one of the most spectacular celestial events of our lifetime — a total solar eclipse. The Snæfellsnes Peninsula lies in the path of totality, and this exclusive small-group tour is carefully timed so you arrive at Kirkjufell, Iceland’s most iconic mountain, just as the moon fully covers the sun at 17:50.

For several breathtaking minutes, day will turn to night. The sky will darken, stars may emerge, and the sun’s glowing corona will become visible — a sight that can only be seen during 100% totality. Against this backdrop, Kirkjufell and its double waterfalls will be bathed in otherworldly light, creating one of the most photogenic moments imaginable.

Along the way, you’ll explore Iceland’s “miniature continent” — black churches, volcanic craters, sea cliffs, hidden waterfalls — while receiving hands-on photography classes in landscape and wildlife photography. Your professional guide will capture five edited photos per person, including a portrait at Kirkjufell during totality, so you’ll take home both your own shots and professional keepsakes of this once-in-a-lifetime day.

Throughout this tour, your guide will also be your photographer. Meaning that they will take photos of you during all of these experiences. After the tour is over, we will edit and send them to you for you to keep as a memory of your epic adventure!
