Full description
Setting out from Reykjavík airport we will make our way towards Glymur, one of Iceland’s highest and most spectacular waterfalls. From there we will head to Þórisjökull glacier for a stopover (subject to conditions) where you will have time to enjoy amazing mountain views in every direction. In case a stopover at the glacier is not possible due to weather, we offer scenic alternative stopover options.
On our way back to Reykjavík we will pass the 9000-year-old shield volcano Skjaldbreiður and follow the continental rift to Þingvellir National Park.
